Trainmates: Gym Buddy & Crew Stakes

Open the Crew tab and tap Invite. Share the link or the invite code (it looks like SP-4821). Your trainmate taps the link to open Trainmates, or enters the code on the Join screen. A crew holds up to five people.
That happens when Trainmates is not installed yet, or on a device that has not opened the app since installing. Install Trainmates from the App Store, then tap the link again — or tap Open in Trainmates on the web page and enter the code manually if asked.
Your crew decides what a missed weekly goal costs — a coffee, dinner, a favor — and records it in the crew settings. When someone misses their goal, Trainmates adds the stake to the tally and the weekly recap shows who owes what. Stakes are informal agreements between you and your crew: Trainmates never handles money and does not enforce them.
No. One subscription covers the whole crew. When one member subscribes, every member gets full access for as long as that subscription is active and the subscriber stays in the crew. Current prices are shown in the app.
Check your connection and try again from the check-in screen — the photo is kept on your device until it uploads. If it keeps failing, make sure Trainmates has camera or photo access in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security, and that you are on a recent version of the app.
Only members of your crew. There are no public profiles or feeds. Check-in photos are removed when you delete the check-in or your account; nudge photos expire automatically after 30 days. See the Privacy Policy.
Reminders use your saved gym location and iOS region monitoring, so Trainmates needs location access set to "Always" (or at least "While Using" with Precise Location on) and notifications enabled. Check iOS Settings > Trainmates, and confirm the gym pin is placed on the right spot in the app's Reminders settings. Location is processed on your device.
Make sure notifications are allowed for Trainmates in iOS Settings, and that the specific type (check-ins, nudges, recap, reminders) is switched on inside the app under Settings > Notifications. Focus modes can also silence them.
Manage or cancel anytime in your iPhone's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; your crew keeps access until then.
Leave a crew from the Crew tab > Settings > Leave crew. To delete your account and all of your data — photos, check-ins, nudges, saved gym location, crew membership — go to Settings > Delete Account in the app and confirm. For any other data request, email support@trainmates.app.
