Trainmates: Gym Buddy & Crew Stakes

Effective date: October 25, 2026

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Trainmates ("Trainmates", the "app"), an iOS application operated by Leethub, LLC ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What Trainmates Is — and Is Not

Trainmates is an accountability tool: you and the members of your crew set weekly workout goals, check in with photos, and keep track of the informal stakes you agree on among yourselves. Trainmates is not a fitness, training, or medical service and does not provide exercise programming, coaching, or health advice. You are solely responsible for deciding whether, how, and how much to exercise; consult a qualified professional before starting or changing a training routine, and stop if you feel unwell.

3. Accounts & Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use Trainmates. An account is created on your device when you first open the app; you may optionally link it with Sign in with Apple, and you are responsible for maintaining access to your Apple account if you do. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must not share it or let anyone else use it.

4. Crews & Content You Share

A crew holds up to five members. Anyone with a crew's invite code can join it, so share invite codes only with people you want in your crew. You can leave a crew at any time.
Photos, names, nudges, and stakes you post are visible to every member of your crew. There are no public profiles or feeds; nothing you post is visible outside your crew.
You keep ownership of the photos and content you post. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display that content to your crew solely to operate the app. We claim no other rights to it.
You must have the right to share any photo you post, and you must not post content that is unlawful, sexually explicit, harassing, hateful, violent, or that shows people who have not agreed to appear. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this section.

5. Stakes & Wagers

Crews may record informal stakes for missed weekly goals — for example a coffee, a dinner, or a favor. Stakes are private, informal agreements between the members of a crew. Leethub, LLC is not a party to them, does not enforce, collect, escrow, or settle them, does not handle money, and has no responsibility for whether any member honours them. Trainmates simply records what your crew agreed and keeps a tally. You must not use Trainmates for gambling, for stakes that are illegal where you live, or for stakes involving money where that would require a licence. Keep stakes friendly; Trainmates is for accountability, not debt collection.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

Trainmates offers auto-renewable subscriptions purchased through Apple. Current prices and periods are shown in the app before purchase.
One subscription covers the crew. When a member of a crew holds an active subscription, every member of that crew (up to five) gets full access for as long as the subscription is active and the subscriber remains in the crew. If the subscriber cancels, lets the subscription lapse, or leaves the crew, the other members' access ends at the close of the paid period unless another member subscribes.
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Payment is charged to the subscriber's Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. The Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings after purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.
Referral rewards (for example a free month for inviting a friend) are promotional, may change or end at any time, have no cash value, and may be withheld where we detect abuse.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, access other users' data without permission, create crews or accounts by automated means, or use it in violation of applicable law. This includes not attempting to circumvent subscription checks, referral limits, or crew size limits.

8. Intellectual Property

The app, its design, and its trademarks are owned by Leethub, LLC. Content you post about your own training is yours, subject to the limited licence in Section 4.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. You exercise at your own risk and are solely responsible for your training decisions and for any stakes you agree to with your crew. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leethub, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the app, including injury during exercise, disputes between crew members, missed reminders or notifications, or loss of content.

10. Termination & Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete Account); this removes your content as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Apple's refund and subscription rules continue to apply to any active subscription.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
